EW Mission Fabric is designed to connect sensing, mission feeds, alerts and human-supervised operations through a resilient, proprietary autonomy architecture.
A phased technology architecture designed to connect EW-01, EW-02 and approved third-party maritime systems while complementing existing naval C2/CMS environments.
Modular engineering approach designed to support different maritime mission requirements.
Compact platforms designed to reduce logistical complexity and dependence on specialised deployment infrastructure.
Engineering, prototyping and future industrial production centred in Portugal, within a European corporate structure.
Two proprietary maritime platforms. One integrated technology vision.
ElectricWhale is pursuing a phased development strategy, prioritising the physical prototyping and validation of EW-01 Narwhal before advancing EW-02 Stingray and EW Mission Fabric into integrated system development.
EW-01 Narwhal is ElectricWhale's priority development platform — a proprietary hybrid surface/subsurface unmanned vehicle designed for high-performance maritime operations, flexible deployment and cost-efficient manufacturing.
Detailed engineering materials are available through the confidential review process.
Hybrid unmanned surface and subsurface maritime platform.
EW-02 Stingray is ElectricWhale's persistent underwater sensing platform, designed to support intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions and distributed maritime awareness.
Detailed platform design and engineering documentation are subject to confidential review.
Designed for extended underwater monitoring and mission-relevant data collection.
THE INTEGRATED SYSTEM
A phased approach to integrated maritime autonomy.
ElectricWhale is developing an integrated maritime autonomy architecture connecting two proprietary platforms through EW Mission Fabric.
EW-02 Stingray is designed to provide persistent underwater sensing and mission-relevant data. EW Mission Fabric is conceived as the edge autonomy and coordination layer, connecting platform information, alerts and human-supervised mission functions. EW-01 Narwhal provides the high-performance maritime response capability.
Our development strategy prioritises the physical validation of EW-01 before progressing towards full integration of the three components.
Conceptual system architecture. Integration and system-level validation are planned for subsequent development stages.
Validating EW-01 hardware first provides the engineering foundation for Mission Fabric development, reducing technical risk and shortening the path from prototype to production readiness.
All specifications and capabilities represent engineering targets or development concepts, subject to physical validation.
EW Mission Fabric is ElectricWhale's planned proprietary edge autonomy and mission integration engine, designed to connect EW-01 Narwhal, EW-02 Stingray and approved third-party maritime systems.
The architecture combines mission-relevant data feeds, alerts, platform coordination and human-supervised autonomy within a controlled technology environment.
Its functional development is planned for the second programme phase, using validated EW-01 engineering data and platform interfaces to support progressive integration and system-level testing. Designed to complement existing naval C2/CMS environments, Mission Fabric will provide an interoperable mission layer without replacing established command-and-control systems.
